History

DeLeo’s Auto body Inc. was founded in 1978 by two brothers Leo and John DeLeo. Starting their careers at separate auto body shops, they decided to merge their expertise; one being proficient in business, and the other, a craftsman with his hands. They opened their first location in Kendall Square on Hayward Street, and has since moved various locations around the Cambridge area. DeLeo’s Auto body is now located at 75 Hamilton Street, Cambridge.

In 2000, Leo’s children Denise and Leo took over the business as co-owners. They believe in running their small family business by their father’s motto: “Do it right first time, and you won’t have to do it a second time.” The company’s outstanding work and dedication to their values such as trust and integrity has earned them various awards and recognition, including “Certificate of Appreciation” awarded by the Cambridge Police Superior Officers Association in 2007.

Today, the company focuses on auto body, collision repair, as well as restoration.
